Millie L’Allier, Age 95, Dec. 5, 1915 to March 5, 2011 Mildred “Millie” Marie L’Allier (LeVasseur), Somerset,Wis., died on March 5, 2011, at the American Heritage Care Center, Hammond, Wis. She was born Dec. 5, 1915, in Centerville, Minn., to Louis Le-Vasseur and Mamie (nee Gifford) LeVasseur. She Married Charlemagne (Charlie) J. L’Allier, in Somerset, Wis. Her sons and their wives are Charlemagne (Chuck) L’Allier Jr., stepson (deceased), and Patricia (nee Dawson) L’Allier (deceased); Eugene L’Allier and Evelyn (nee Proulx) L’Allier, of Somerset; Russell L’Allier and Elizabeth (nee McEiver) L’Allier (deceased), of Gordon, Wis.; Richard L’Allier (deceased); James L’Allier and Susan (nee Margulies) L’Allier, of Elburn, Ill. She had 11 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren. Preceded by her parents; three brothers; five sisters; Charlemagne (husband); Richard (son); Charlemagne Jr. (stepson). She was a member of St.Anne Church, Somerset, and Extraordinary Minister of the Eucharist. She was a fosterparent for Catholic Charities and a driver and volunteer for St. Croix Health Center. Millie and her husband Charlie were restaurateurs in the local area. In the 1950s they ran the restaurant in the Lowrey Hotel in New Richmond and the LaCourt Café in Menomonie.
