Leo Crotty

Leo Sylvester Crotty of Somerset, Wisconsin, died Saturday December 8, 2012 at home after a battle with cancer. Leo was born in Osceola, Wisconsin on January 12, 1939 to Sylvester and Viola (Demulling) Crotty. He is a veteran of the National Guard 4th Battalion of Fort Leonard Wood. He served on the Somerset Police Department and Fire Department for 10 years. He was a very talented carpenter and he enjoyed many hobbies outdoors such as camping, gardening, yard work, and taking his 1962 Starfire for a cruise in his free time. Leo is survived by his wife, Darlene (Jansen)of 51 years; his children, Scott (Roxann), Julie (John) Martell, Mark (Penny), Amy, Jay (Lisa), and Barry; grandchildren, Danielle, Samuel, Micah, Jordan, Joshua, Brittany, Kirsty, Megan, Emily, Zachary, Jolise, Jaylin, and Allyiah; great grandchildren, Lydia and Elliana and his brother, Robert (Mary) Crotty. Visitation 4-8 Thursday December 13, 2012 at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Somerset, WI and also one hour prior to service. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 AM Friday December 14, 2012 at St. Anne’s Catholic Church.
