Francine Zahradka

Francine Marie Zahradka, age 69, of New Richmond, WI, died surrounded by family on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 after a short but courageous battle with cancer. Fran was born on January 28, 1944 in Baldwin, WI to Frank and Mary (Gogtkin) Draxler. She had just retired from her position at the courier desk for The Hartford. Previously, she worked as a registered nurse and as a medical researcher for Doar Drill law firm. Fran loved to spend time gardening and also watching her grandchildren’s various activities. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother Tom Draxler and four sisters: Patricia Plourde, Mavis Cavarno, Phyllis Fivecoat and Bette Rudesill. She is survived by her loving family; daughter Kristine Little and son Jason (Melissa) Zahradka; two granddaughters Sydney and Bailey Zahradka; and sister Mary “Midge”(Mike) Coleman, all of New Richmond. Visitation Thursday April 18th, 2013 from 4 to 8 PM at the Cullen Crea Funeral Home with a prayer service at 7:30 PM. Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Friday April 19, 2013 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in New Richmond. Visitation one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment New Richmond Cemetery. Memorials preferred to ADORAY Hospice or the Western Wisconsin Cancer Center.
