Pierre LeQue, age 9, of Woodbury and Lake Elmo, Minnesota, passed away unexpectedly on Sept. 11, 2013. Pierre was doing something he loved on Sept. 4, riding his bike, when the accident occurred. Born in Stillwater, Minnesota, and formally of New Richmond, and Eau Claire, WI. Pierre became a hero by giving the gift of life by donation to many others with his passing. He was preceded in death by great-grandfather, Joseph Lenz; great-grandparents, Louis and Gertrude LeQue; great-grandfather, Lloyd Beaudette; grandfather, Eugene Meyer; and grandmother, Diane Meyer. Pierre will be deeply missed by his dad, Brian and step-mom, Darby LeQue; his mom, LuAnn Meyer; his grandparents, Gerald and Karen LeQue; great-grandmother, Elizabeth Beaudette; aunts and uncles, Pam Sheldon, Denny (Missy) LeQue, Mary (Keith) Smith, Randy (Denise) Meyer, Joyce (Robin) Boche, Bob Meyer, Terry Kramer, Cheryl (Ross) Sellinger, Deb (Jeff) Ludwidwoski; cousins, Stewart Sheldon, Abbigail LeQue, Devin LeQue and Colton Lenz; and many other cousins he loved. Pierre’s special friends, Owen and Becca, as well as his dogs Buckles and Lilly. Pierre will be remembered as a very energetic little boy who enjoyed riding bike, playing his iPad & Wii, fishing, rollerblading, swimming, singing, dancing, playing with his dogs, hanging out with dad, snuggling with mom and shopping with Darby, and he was an avid Packer fan. Pierre had attended school in Eau Claire, and just entered the 4th Grade at Red Rock Elementary in Woodbury. Visitation from 4-8 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 15, at Cullen Crea Funeral Home, 307 South Arch Avenue, New Richmond, Wisconsin. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 16, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 151 South Washington Avenue, New Richmond, with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. until time of service. Luncheon to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to LuAnn Meyer or Brian LeQue.
