Helen Elaine (Kobs) Lukes died Monday July 14, 2014 at the St. Croix Health Center at the age of 81. Helen is preceded in death by husband Russell Kobs and her parents. Helen is survived by her son, Elvis Kevin Kobs; daughters, Mary (Jerry) Mechelke, Judy (Arlin) Hanson, Marlene (Steven) Peterson, Carol (Randy) Dodge, Denise (Forrest) Maynard; brothers, Donald and Eddie Lukes; sisters, Marian Griffith, Marlene Brinkman, and Alice Molinski; 25 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren, and 2 great, great grandchildren. Helen enjoyed cooking, fishing, gardening, and sewing. She loved taking care of her family and making others feel important. Helen never missed a birthday or holiday and was a care giver who put her family above all. She will be greatly missed. Mass of Christian Burial held Thursday July 17 at 10 A.M. at IMMACULATE CONCEPTION CATHOLIC CHURCH in New Richmond, WI. One hour visitation prior to service at the church. Lunch immediately to follow service with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery in East Farmington, WI.
