Tellis Belisle died peacefully surrounded by loving family at his home on March 7, 2015. Tellis was born December 20, 1944 in Amery, WI. Tellis graduated from Turtle Lake High School then attended Rice Lake Technical College from 1963-1964 and became a machinist. He worked as a machinist his entire life, working the last 20 years at United Gear in Hudson. In 1967 Tellis married Marlene Sorum and had two children, Heather and Kyle. In 1999 Tellis married LeAnn (Clausen) and shared 15 ½ wonderful years together. Tellis proudly served his country in the First Infantry Division of the Army during the Vietnam War. Tellis had many hobbies including fishing, hunting-rifle and bow, golf, gardening, and especially spending time with all family. He is preceded in death by his parents, Tellis & Ethel (Petersen) Belisle. Tellis is survived by his loving wife, LeAnn; daughter, Heather; son, Kyle (Trisha); stepdaughter, Karri Balzer; stepsons, Paul (Trina) Clausen, David (Andi) Clausen; sisters, Mary Jane Belisle, Ranae (Bill) Madison; brother, Lauren (Vidette) Belisle; grandchildren, Cassie (Travis), Kim (Alex), Katee, Tori, Jaelyn, Alec, Miranda, Brandon, Carter, Jesse, and Bailey. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL WILL BE HELD AT 11 AM THURSDAY MARCH 12, 2015 at the IMMACULATE CONCEPTION CATHOLIC CHURCH in New Richmond, WI. VISITATION ONE HOUR PRIOR to the service at the CHURCH. Burial will be held at WI Veteran’s Cemetery in Spooner at a later date.
