Robert Gene Eder, age 89, passed away on July 21, 2015 at the St. Croix Health Center in New Richmond, Wisconsin. He was born on March 8, 1926 in St. Paul, Minnesota to Leonard and Tilda (Olson) Eder. Robert grew up in Turtle Lake, Wisconsin and proudly served our country in the United States Army from 1945-46. Later, Robert became a bus driver for the city of St. Paul and fixed cars in his spare time. He was preceded in death by his parents; loving wife, Leona (Kane) Eder; sister, Loretta (Gerald) Erickson; brothers, Leonard Eder Jr. and Virgil Eder. Robert is survived by his brothers, Arnie Eder, Merle Eder; sister, Pearl (George) Pulju; sisters-in-law, Audrey Cernohous, and Dorothy Hossain. A gathering of family and friends will take place from 3-5 PM on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at the CULLEN CREA FUNERAL HOME in New Richmond, Wisconsin. In lieu of flowers memorials preferred to Grace Place.
