Dan died peacefully on Saturday May 7, 2016 at his parents’ home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on April 5, 1963 in River Falls, WI to Wayne & Arlene (Graetz) Place. Dan was Everyone’s Friend. Survived by his loving parents; son, Nathaniel Niles; siblings, Debra Knops, Jon (Mary) Place, Joan Place, Cheryl (Mark) Schmidt, Jim Place, Mary Place, Missy (Denny) LeQue, Joe Place & (Erin Timm); niece and nephews, Jimmy Knops, Joe & Sam Place, Brandon (Megan) Meister, Ben & Zac Cahanes, Abbigail & Devin LeQue, also many cousins. We welcome you to honor Dan by attending in your classic and vintage cars or motorcycles. Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday May 14, 2016 at the Faith Community Church in New Richmond. Visitation will be held for two hours prior to service at the church. Dan will be laid to rest at the Boardman Cemetery. Following the burial there will be a luncheon at Meister’s Boardman.
