Donald LeRoy Dahlgren, age 88 of New Richmond, Wisconsin, died, Friday, December 5, 2025, at Westfields Hospital in New Richmond.

He was born on May 17, 1937, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He was the adopted son of Clarence and Ruth (Fossum) Dahlgren. Following high school, he served in the U.S. Air Force where he refueled airplanes in the air. Following his military service, he earned his plumbing certifications and worked as a plumber in St. Paul, MN. He enjoyed flying remote controlled airplanes, fishing, hunting, boating and his quick wit and stories will be missed by all who knew and loved him. On October 7, 1989, he married Janice Howard in Menomonie, WI.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Ruth and his first wife, Madeline. He is survived by his wife, Janice; children, Brian (Lisa), Nicolin (Scott), Traci (Michael); seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A private Celebration of Life will be held for the family at a later date. Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services.
