Kathleen “Kathy” Ann Bengtson, age 75, of Somerset, Wis., passed away on October 8, 2025, at her home. She was born on June 7, 1950, in Davenport, Iowa to Mark and Mabel (Sawvell) Valley. Kathy loved baking, cooking, 4 wheeling, bingo, and trips to Las Vegas. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and her dogs Sassy and Prince.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Larry Bengtson. Kathy is survived by her children, Sherry Otto, Dawn Sindt, Dave (Gretchen) Sindt, and Scott Sindt; grandchildren, Monica, Jessica (Dustin), Ashley (Scott), Savanna (Justice), Hailey (Jason), Spencer, Adilane, Sophia, and Vinny; great grandchildren, Tristen, Abel, Brynlei, Cyrus, Everly, Luna, and Bennett. Also survived by stepchildren Larry, Mike, and Kevin Bengtson; many step grandchildren; and countless other family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at Noon on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at Cullen Crea Funeral Home in New Richmond, Wis. Visitation begins at 10:30 AM prior to service at the funeral home. Interment at St. Anne’s Cemetery in Somerset, Wis. Luncheon at St. Anne’s immediately following the interment.
