Phil “Flip” Bowe, age, 72 of New Richmond, Wisconsin, died, Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at The Deerfield Assisted Living Facility in New Richmond.

He was born on February 15, 1953, in Bloomer, Wisconsin, a son of Roland and Donna (Schindler) Bowe. On October 9, 1976, he married Cindy Hartman at Sacred Heart Church in Jim Falls, Wisconsin. He earned a bachelor’s degree in environmental science from the University of River Falls and worked many different jobs in food safety throughout his career, moving his family several times, as far away as Iowa and Ohio, before finally settling in New Richmond, WI. Flip was a true jokester who enjoyed making people laugh, he had a twinkle in his eye that could light up any room. He enjoyed baseball, softball, hunting and fishing with his kids and grandkids, camping and overall spending time with his family and friends. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in New Richmond.

He is preceded in death by, his parents, Roland and Donna and his wife, Cindy. He is survived by his children, Scott (Nicole); Brent (Megan); Stephanie (Dan) Pasowicz; grandchildren, Austin, Lauren, Charlee, and Jason; siblings, Keith (Lois) Bowe and Kathryn (Doug) Steinmetz, and of course his beloved Golden Retriever Jordy.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Monday, October 6, 2025, at 12:30 PM at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (151 S Washington St New Richmond WI 54017). Visitation was held from 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM. In Lieu of Flowers, please send donations to the American Stroke Association or the Lakeview Health Foundation. Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services.

The family would also like to extend a warm thank you to Deerfield for taking great care of dad over the past year.
