Kamren DeSmith 03/09/2018

Kamren James DeSmith, age 19 of Glenwood City, WI, died tragically on Friday, March 9, 2018. He was born the son of Dana (Hansen) DeSmith and Chris DeSmith on December 18, 1998 in Baldwin, WI. He grew up in Glenwood City, graduating from Glenwood City High School with the class of 2017. Kamren loved farming, and spending time outside. He was an avid Patriot fan and enjoyed cutting wood, and riding ATV. His favorite place to be was Kuehl’s Bar and Grill, where he loved to eat and would help with anything they needed help with. He loved their burgers and one was never enough. Kamren tried so hard to live a good life and be a friend to everyone. He was generous to a fault and would give you the shirt off his back or his last dime if you needed it. He was a kind and sensitive person who had the most incredible, infectious smile and a good heart. He is preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Gordon and Marie Knott; and grandfathers, Jim DeSmith and George Hansen. Kamren is survived by his parents, Dana DeSmith and Chris (Karen Hovind) DeSmith; brothers, Brenden DeSmith, Brett (Brittany) Gates; sister, Hailey Vanderlinden; niece, Raelynn Gates; grandmothers, Judith (Jim) Hansen Jorgenson, Pauline DeSmith, Gail Davidson, Sheila Ann Rahne; and many other family and friends. A Funeral Service was held on Thursday, March 15, 2018 at 11 am at Zion Lutheran Church 221 N Lockwood St, Woodville, WI. Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 from 4-8 pm at the Bakken-Young Funeral Home 17508th Ave. Baldwin, WI and on Thursday from 10-11 am at the church. Interment was in the St. John’s Cemetery in Glenwood City, WI. Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services of Baldwin.

Judith I’m so sorry to hear about the loss of your grandson. I never met Kamren, but he sounded like a wonderful caring soul. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
