Travis James 12/07/2012

Travis James, age 32,  passed away unexpectedly December 7, 2012. Born January 9, 1980.  He is survived by  his wife, Ashley Olien and other family: mother and step father, Sheila and Wayne Ruzicka, grandparents, Vicky and Samuel James, in-laws, Kim, Todd and Gavin Anderson and Adam Olien. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.  He will also be missed by his beloved pets Puck and Hero. Travis was an avid sports fan with a great knowledge of and love for both baseball and football, in particular. He loved collecting sports cards and memorabilia. He was also a seasoned poker player.  He loved chess as a child and learned to play with his grandfather.  It was a hobby he never outgrew.  While he loved to dress up and look sharp, he was never caught without a baseball cap on!  A Memorial Service was held on Monday, December 17, 2012 at 2 pm at the Bakken-Young Beebe Chapel on New Richmond with visitation from 1-2 pm.  Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services of New Richmond.
