Mary O’Neill 05/01/2016

Mary O’Neill, age 72 of Hudson, Wisconsin.  Passed suddenly at home on May 1, 2016. Preceded in death by parents George and Helen Kodadek. She is survived by her beloved husband of 51 years, Patrick O’Neill; her son Sean (Oksana) O’Neill, daughter Susan (Tom) Vik; grandchildren Ketrin, Emma, Ava, Isadora, Karina and her cherished Miniature Schnauzer Abigail. Mary grew up in South Minneapolis attending Academy of Holy Angels and then Creighton University where she met her husband, Patrick. When her children were grown, Mary went back to school to become a Certified Medical Assistant and enjoyed working part time in the medical field for several years. Mary was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Visitation was held Sunday May 8 from 3-6pm at Bakken-Young Funeral Home in River Falls, WI. Mass was held at 10:30 am on Monday May 9th at St. Bridget Church in River Falls, WI with a 30 minute visitation at the church prior to the mass. Memorials preferred to N.C. Little Hospice, Edina, MN in honor of her mother Helen.  Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services of River Falls.
