Joseph Score 09/08/2014

Joe Score, age 33, died unexpectedly on Monday, September 8, 2014 at his home in River Falls, WI.  Joey, was the youngest son of Doug Score and Sue Miller.  He will be remembered for his infectious smile and passion for music; he found great solace in both playing and writing music.  He was a loving father who took great joy in spending time with and instilling core values in his two beautiful sons, Sid, 12 and Dylan, 10.  Joey was a supportive friend and a great listener who always had a genuine compliment and encouraging words to share.  He delighted in a beautiful afternoon, shredding on his skateboard, and making great food on the grill.  Joey enjoyed cheering on the Green Bay Packers and was a devoted fan of the Milwaukee Brewers and could be found on any given evening between March and October enjoying a Brewer’s game with Bob Uecker making the call.  Joey will be deeply missed by his family, friends and acquaintances that won’t forget his unique and enthusiastic approach to life.  Joey was preceded in death by his mother, Sue Miller.  He is survived by his wife, Genevieve Needham, two sons, Sid and Dylan Score, his father and step-mother Doug and Sandy Score, and his two brothers and their wives and children, Matt and Lara Score with Madeleine and Nicholas, and Luke and Madalyn Krizek-Score with Phoenix and Harper.  A Celebration of Joe’s Life was held Saturday, September 13, 2014 from 3- 6pm with Words of Remembrance beginning at 5 pm at W8409 830th Ave. River Falls, WI.  A memorial fund has been set up to help Joe’s sons with their short & long-term needs.  You can find out more and donate at http://www.youcaring.com/other/joe-score-family-memorial-fund/231620.  Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services of River Falls.
