Jaimi Engel 05/10/2016

Jaimi Engel, 39, of Bloomer, WI formerly of River Falls, WI passed away with her family at her side Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, MN.

 

Jaimi will be remembered for her kind and generous spirit, contagious laugh, and beautiful smile. She loved to cook, and expressed her creativity through trying new recipes out on her family and friends. Almost all of them were delicious. Jaimi also enjoyed golfing, gardening, reading and playing cards and games with family and friends. While she might express regret at beating someone in euchre, the twinkle in her eyes said otherwise. That twinkle endeared her to her nieces and nephews, upon whom Jaimi doted. They especially will miss her goofy shenanigans at family gatherings.

 

Jaimi is survived by her parents, Nanci and Ross Nelson and Gene and Vicki Engel; grandparent, Geri Nelson; siblings, Bret Engel (Shari), Traci Engel Lesneski (Mathew), Tami Nelson, Mark Nelson, Deanna Toft Larson (Brad), Amber Toft Marlatt (Dave), David Toft (Houa); soulmate, Alin Bircham; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends; fur family, Maui and Sarge. She is preceded in death by grandparents Larry and Bea Petersen, Leo and Marge Engel and Lambert Nelson.
