Flint Campbell 10/18/2017

Flint “Wally” Campbell passed away unexpectedly October 18, 2017, at the age of 68 after a short battle with cancer.  Flint was born on October 7, 1949 in Yuma, Arizona to Wayne and Grace.  He grew up in Spooner, WI, where he attended Tadpole School before graduating in 1967 from Spooner High School.  In 1970 he married Laura (Gaulke) and together they raised two children, Jennifer and Travis.  On October 17, 2017, Flint and Laura celebrated forty-seven years of marriage.  Flint is survived by his wife, Laura; daughter, Jennifer (Marcus); son, Travis (Devon); and three grandchildren, Keenan, Brodyn, and Brynlee.  Brothers, Ed and Tom (Cindy).  In-laws, Carol, Adeline (Jeff), Ruth (Bill), Carl (Brenda), Rose (Jerry), Mary (Tom), Robert (Melanie); and many nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family.  Flint is preceded in death by his father, Wayne; mother, Grace; brother, Bill; father-in-law, Carl; mother-in-law, Vera; brother-in-law, Mel; and sister-in-law, Barb.  In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be sent to The Rhinos PO Box 689 River Falls, WI 54022.(Rhinofoundation.org).  A Funeral Service was held on Monday, October 23, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. at Luther Memorial Lutheran Church (420 S 4th St. River Falls, WI 54022). Visitation was on Sunday, October 22, 2017 from 2:00-5:00 p.m. at Bakken-Young Funeral and Cremation Services of River Falls (805 E Division St.) and Monday, October 23, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the church. Private family interment was in Spooner Cemetery. Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services of River Falls, WI.
