Carrie Van Trump 12/23/2010

Carrie Van Trump age 87 of New Richmond died Thursday, December 23, 2010 at the Deerfield Gables.  She was born the daughter of John and Inga (Stovern) Larson on October 28, 1923.  Carrie lived in Florida and a few other places before coming back to New Richmond.  She is preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Perry Swenson; second husband, David Van Trump; daughter, Charlotte Martz; sisters, Ethel Larson, Alice Mae Kromrey; brothers, Gayheart Larson and Lewis Larson.  She is survived by her children, Dewie (Tina) Swenson, Karen (Bob) Jorgenson, Diane (Donnie) Long, Jack Swenson, Oralei (Eric) Fauble, Renata (Billy) Lisle, Denise Slaughter, David Van Trump; 23 grandchildren; and many great grandchildren; sisters, Agnes Evenson, Ilene Bottolfson and Helen Skifstad.  A funeral service was held Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at 11:00 am at West Immanuel Lutheran Church in rural Osceola.  Visitation was also Tuesday from 9:30-11:00 am before the service at church.  Interment was in the West Immanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery.  Arrangements were with Bakken-Young’s Beebe Mortuary of New Richmond.
