Carol Turner 11/28/2013

Carol J. Turner, age 73, died on Thursday, November 28, 2013 at the Willow Ridge Care Center in Amery.  She was born August 20, 1940 to Calvin and Avanelle Thatcher in New Richmond, WI.  She was united in marriage to Melvin H. Turner on July 27, 1964.  She is survived by her step-daughter, Melinda; step-daughter-in-law, Wendy; grandchildren, Ryan and Shannon; aunts and uncles, Lila, Celia, Vera, Pat and Marvin; cousins, nieces, friends; special friend, Bonnie; and her cats, Reggie and Shadow.  Carol was a loving caring lady.  She especially enjoyed teaching Sunday School at the Emerald United Methodist Church where she was very active.  She was also a devoted Green Bay Packer fan.  A graveside service will be held in the spring of 2014 at Tea Garden Cemetery.  Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services of Baldwin.
