Allan Gene Powers, died on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, MN following a brief illness. Allan was born on January 9, 1932 in Eau Claire, WI to Raymond and Lila (Holum) Powers. He graduated from high school in St. Paul, MN and joined the Navy. After an Honorable discharge, he joined his parents in Wyomissing, PA. He married Evelyn Henry and they moved to Wisconsin. Allan was employed as a mechanical Draftsman at Control Data in Arden Hills, MN for many years. Allan is survived by his wife, Evelyn Powers; daughters, April (Harry) Deisher, and Stephanie (Scot) Singerhouse; grandsons, Grant (Theresa) Leverty and Gerrit (Kari) Leverty; granddaughter, Alyx (Dustin) Bystrom; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and all his siblings, Eleanor Pederson, John Powers, and William Powers. There will be no services per Allan’s wishes.
