Alan BoorAlan Edward Boor age 60 of New Richmond died Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale, MN.  He was born the son of Earl and Gert (Habig) Boor on December 10, 1956 in New Richmond.  Alan graduated from New Richmond High School and served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing darts.  Alan is survived by his sons, Drew and Russell (Kristina); grandson, Hunter; parents, Earl and Gert; sister, Diana (Chris) Armstrong; brothers, Joe, Mark and Aaron; step-son, Jason Beauvais; niece, Kayla Johnson; other relatives and friends.  A memorial gathering to celebrate the life of Alan was held on Sunday, March 12, 2017 from 1:00-4:00 pm at the New Richmond American Legion Post #80 (1245 Wall St.) with military honors performed by American Legion Post #80 at 4 pm.  Honorary pallbearers were his long-time friends, Rick Nelson and Reggie Swanson.  Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services Beebe Chapel of New Richmond.

    Beaver was such a great person. I will miss him very much. Easy going, Fun to talk to. Had some great times with him. Back in the days. Send my prayers to the family.
